About The Felt Room.

Inspired by vintage buys and an urge to create I have developed the Felt Room. Whilst at college I studied an Art Foundation course and I found that working with textiles and the contrasts and unlimited ways they can develop into a piece of artwork excited me, but I eventually went down the graphic design route. I have recently been re-inspired by the revival of vintage and retro fabrics that are
re-emerging on the high street. Thus the Felt Room was born, my creative urge could not be suppressed any longer.

Every piece on this website is handmade and unique. Most of my creations begin with felt to which I add vintage fabrics, ribbon, old buttons, beads and recycled items to create original pieces.

Personalised Items.

I'm happy to provide personalised pieces. If you'd like a specific word or name embroidered onto the item please use the contact page to discuss your requirements. If there are certain colours you'd prefer please mention those too.
